Skilldemie Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Skilldemie! By enrolling in any of our courses or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully before registering or accessing our site.

1. General Terms for Site Use

This document (the “Terms and Conditions”) governs the use of www.skilldemie.com (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by 1000903273 ONTARIO CORP. By using this Site, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions at all times.

2. Intellectual Property

All content published on our Site is the property of 1000903273 ONTARIO CORP and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site. You are granted a license to use the course materials for personal learning purposes only. Distribution, reproduction, or sale of these materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

3. Sale of Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of services available on our Site, including our online Agile Project Management courses. By purchasing these services, you agree to:

• Pay in full at the time of order, or
• Use flexible payment options available through Affirm or Klarna (6, 12, or 24 months).

We reserve the right to modify, reject, or cancel your order if necessary. If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, you will receive a full refund. It is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument for receipt of any refund.

4. Program Participation

• Homework and Assignments: For Bootcamp participants, all assignments and homework must be completed on time. Group work requires active participation and collaboration with fellow participants.
• Masterclass Participation: Masterclass attendees will receive course materials and a link to join the class. Participation during sessions is essential for success.
• Certification Courses (APK and PSM): You will receive login and account details for your certification (Scrum.org or ProKanban.org) before the course. It is your responsibility to review these materials and actively engage with the content.

5. Course Fees

• Agile Project Management Bootcamp and Project Management Bootcamp – Advanced: $4,000 USD
• 12 Key Campaign Essentials Masterclass and Technical Leadership Blueprint: $1,100 USD
• Applying Professional Kanban (APK) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Certification: $1,200 USD each

These fees can be paid:

• Upfront in full, or
• In installments via Affirm or Klarna.

6. Refunds

We provide refunds for services sold on our Site under the following conditions:

• Non-refundable registration fee: The service fee is refundable within 48 hours before the scheduled start of services.
• Once services have begun, no refunds are available.

7. Program Inclusions

• Coaching Sessions: Bootcamp participants will have access to weekly coaching sessions. These sessions must be used within the program term or they will be forfeited.
• Course Materials: Participants will receive curated resources such as books, podcasts, training templates, scripts, and presentations for personal use only. Sharing or distributing these materials is prohibited.
• Group Collaboration: Participation in group work is mandatory as it is a critical component of the learning experience.

8. Results Disclaimer

Skilldemie provides support, resources, and guidance, but specific results cannot be guaranteed. Your success in the program depends on your active participation, dedication, and effort.

9. Limitation of Liability

Skilldemie’s liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the course. We are not responsible for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or opportunities.

10. Professional Advice Disclaimer

Skilldemie does not provide legal, financial, or accounting advice. Participants should seek professional guidance for business decisions.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skilldemie, 1000903273 ONTARIO CORP, and its representatives from any claims arising out of your use of the Site or your participation in the program.

12. Communication and Updates

Please ensure that your contact information remains current. Essential information regarding payments, course updates, and announcements will be communicated to the email address provided during enrollment.

13. Dedication to Training Individuals in Need

5% of all Skilldemie tuition will be dedicated to providing Agile Project Management training to individuals in need, through partnerships with local shelters and non-profit organizations. Our goal is to provide 100 free trainings by 2027.

14. Consumer Protection Law

Where the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection legislation applies, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights under such legislation.

15. Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be settled in Ontario courts.

16. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Skilldemie reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or a notice on the Site.
